CONCLUSION
Gastric involvement by MM can be uncommon, but when present, it represents an even greater
challenge in the management of these poor prognosis patients given the risk of hemorrhagic
complications.
In addition to being a rare situation, it is also difficult to diagnose, as it may mimic other malignant
gastric tumors, particularly in patients treated with lenalidomide, that has been described as being
associated with a higher incidence of secondary primary malignancies. Therefore, performing a biopsy
combined with an immunohistochemical study are of extreme importance to establish the correct
diagnosis.
