Spontaneous or post procedural bleeding in patients with MM is infrequent. It can be secondary to
thrombocytopenia, platelet dysfunction, renal impairment, paraprotein mediated acquired
haemostatic defects or therapy-related toxicities.4
Occurrence of biclonal paraproteins in heavy chain and light chain type simultaneously, with post
procedural bleeding due to acquired coagulopathy, both responding promptly to chemotherapy was
quite noticeable in our patient we report here.
